Today's a killer! A straight 9hr class from 9am to 6pm. First lesson on thurs & im finally continuing my module after stopping school for 6 solid months.
I had the strictest lecturer ever this module. Apart from the no food & drink rule, she also has her own rigid rules that we have to follow.
Students have to be in class at least 5 mins before lesson or you will be marked & penalize as late. No mobile phones are allowed during contact hours & they have to be in the bag meaning no picking up of calls as well, not even urgent calls & you are not to visit the restroom during class.
"There is no such thing as urgent. The world will not collapse if you don't pick up your phone. You are not as important as you think you are. Everyone is just a normal human being, no one is important."
"If your boss finds you just tell him/her in advance that you are not available during class. The company will not die if you can't be contacted. The boss must be able to handle the problem & also handle people above them & people under them. This is call boss management."
It's good to be strict at times because you can be disciplined but at the same time, I felt like a kid under control.
Dinner then prawning at Bishan with bby & his friends after class. The loot was disappointing, but however I enjoyed it. Bby said it trains my patience. HAHA!
Really a long day today, & I need a good slp now. Nights!
